Transgender Patient Family Advisory Council

The Transgender Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) is a group of patients and support persons, clinicians and administrators who work together to improve the quality of care we provide.

Together, they strive to:

  • Cultivate respectful partnership between health care professionals, patients, and support persons
  • Strengthen communication between patients, families, hospital leadership, and staff
  • Recommend or facilitate organizational education
  • Provide input for clinical programs and operational issues that affect patients and support persons
